I guess there comes a time in all of our lives that we come to part with our precious firearms. Back around 2004-2005 I purchased an H&k P7-M13 from a friend. He fired it once and didn't like the squeeze cock mechanism. I found an original Galco Pancake shoulder holster for it and actually carried it under my jacket a couple of times. It was a perfect concealed carry due to its small size, powerfull 9mm cartridge and squeeze safety since you could carry a chambered round safely. It sat in the box for the last 10 years in the safe. So I decided to part with it. I listed it in GB and sold it within a week. And yes, for a lot more than I paid. The buyer was also very happy with his purchase. So that's my little story since I have not been in this site for quite a while. Hope you all are well. Best regards Lec

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Lex,good to hear from you. I'm beginning to get the idea that some of this stuff that's never used should go to a good home. Of course, when I let something go, it seems the next week I have a use for it...

Lex, Good to hear from you and that you're doing well. That firearm had my interest back in the early 80's. The squeeze cock feature was unique I think that feature is what drawed my interest to it. If I had the coin back then I more than likely would have bought one. Yea like my other interest of the day back then could of should of ya get the picture.

My worst one, most regretted, was a model 70 Colt Gold Cup .45.....sold, then replaced by a Kimber that I would not feel guilty shooting. Shoulda kept both! Anymore all my guns are starting to turn into gun safe decorations anyway. I hope retirement is better than this, but I'm afraid it won't be. I sure don't have time for the hobby right now!!! (shout box gripe explains)

Lex ~ Good to hear from you, hope all is well. I have stories much like yours but . . . through the years I have come to find that I have NEVER sold a firearm that at some point down the road I didn't regret it. I have some guns that haven't been out of the safe in years and I have a lot of old tools . . . someday the kids will have to deal with them. Of course I have been telling them for years to NEVER sell a tool or a gun . . . They will figure out something. ~ Larry

Well gentlemen, i make it a point to shoot everything I have now. No more safe Queens! Figure I might as well enjoy making my bullets and firing them even if it is at paper! Of course, I enjoy shooting tin cans and watch them fly through the air a lot more but the local range frowns upon that. I been participating in Gun Shows once or twice a month selling my knives and have noticed an absence of Reloading supply vendors. Where once there were several, there is only one attending now. I have not even purchased a new firearm in at least two years. I still cant get used to the plastic guns. But I am still casting and reloading pretty steadily. Might as well stay busy. You all stay well. Regards Lex
