MTCBag was one of the regulars on the Hub. He'd be here if he could. How long has it been?
One of his posts on the Hub was this picture of him and his wife on their anniversary. He is missed. A nice guy to the extreme!
His Avatar:
This is what he wrote on the Hub: I am a 100% disabled retired Senior Chief (E-8, Navy) with over 20 years service. I retired December 7th, 1989 and moved from San Diego to Northern Minnesota where the wife and I still live. I went back to school and got my degree in Micro Computers and Network Administration.
I started reloading with my dad in 1963 and stopped in 1969 when I went into the service. At that time I had a lot of ammo loaded. I didn't figure that I would ever run out of ammo. That changed when we discovered SASS Cowboy Action Shooting. I now reload for 38 different calibers.
I received a degree and became a certified reloader from the University of Phoenix. I also have a type 3 & 6 FFL which I use for purchasing reloading products and antique weapons. I also started manufacturing ammo for a select few big game hunters. Most of these are specific loads for different animals. Always fun to help them tune the rifle and ammo until it is perfect.
I have and use the following presses:
3 Lee Hand Held Presses
1 Lachmiller shotgun press in 12 Ga.
4 Mec Jr's. (12, 20 and two 410's 2 1/2 & 3 inch)
1 Lee "C" Frame
2 Lee Classic Turrets
1 Lee "O" Frame
2 Dillon 550B's
1 Rockchucker
Seems like a lot of presses but can't seem to part with them. I did however give my oldest grandson my 20 gauge Lachmiller press and gifted my Lee Turret Deluxe Press and some accessaries to Dbrow6272 back in November. Slowly but surely, I am thinning out the hoard. Got rid of two more reloaders. 1 Lee Load-All with 12 & 20 Ga. kits (Gifted to Son-in-Law) 1 Old Herters C frame (Finally gifted to a neighborhood friend). I have introduced three of my grandkids to reloading and they have loaded under my supervision the ammo that they want to shoot. Only stipulation is they have to bring all the hulls or brass back to "G"pa at the end of the day and they are not allowed to reload unless I am there to supervise. My goal is to get all 7 of my grandkids involved in reloading and shooting.

If anyone gets up to Northern Minnesota, or Southern Texas in the winter. (I am in Port Aransas TX) drop me a line. We can go shoot or just talk about whatever.
