PJ sends his hellos

         Our former member and still our very good friend PJ sends his hellos to all. I'm friends with PJ on Facebook and read one of his more recent post which I found at least to me very disturbing. He wishes to order Lyman's 50th Reloading Handbook and ran into for what I call a government snag. Seems that he can't have the book shipped to him (now get this guys) because it relates to firearms. Yes this is sad and disturbing to say the least. He is going through another means with the help of relatives to pick up a copy. Since the terror attacks in Europe his country has really gone off the deep end with new gun laws. Now all firearms must be registered that includes any and all antique firearms. Yep if one had a 1779 flintlock that can't even fire has to be registered. These firearms will be illegal to own unless you have the proper permits. Also since those attacks they have come down on the gun owners and those that reload. "Now the legal gun owners and reloaders are under fire, we are  now scaled in with the same laws as terrorists" this is a quote from PJ. In the last 8 months what he calls "house calls" I call searches to make sure his powder his primers and the ammo add up. Whatever they buy to do their reloading they now have to keep their receipts for 10yrs. It use to be one year. PJ also informed me that within two years hunting will likely be banned. We think we have problems with the anti gun folks we are not at this point and we must keep up the fight as to NOT get to that point.
