Well a couple weeks ago I posted about visiting an old friend (the loading bench) and yes FINALLY!!!!! I made it to the range with my son-in-law. We shot our 22 WMRF rifles with some new loads I was using Rem. 40 JHP loads got mine where I need it to be and got his where he wanted his to be with Hornady's 30gr. V-Max loads. Bushy Tails starts this Sat. the 15th. Then we headed for the pistol range so I can see how my cast loads were shooting. Well at the combat line (7yrds) did rather well grouping well in a four inch area in the left lower about two inches from bull. Then I drop back to 25yrds. and shooting from a rest I did not do as well but was able to keep then in a eight inch area. I went through 130 rounds and it did lead up the barrel si I have the barrel soaking in Hoppes and will leave it in there for a couple of days then go from there. Only complaint is that it was windy today but beyond that it was AWESOME to be at the range. Hope to make more trips to the range to prepare for this hunting season.
