Well that acquisition virus has been going around again and I didn't get immunized soon enough! I fell for a Ruger No.1B .243 on GB last night. The rifle is described as new in the box and given the going price I got the fever! (price was good) Now for a scope, probably a Leupold 4X12,as this rifle will be for coyotes, and then I'm going to try Nosler Brass. I already have 200 + pieces of W-W but those will be for the Model 70 as I don't full length size.

Bob, that sounds like a nice score ! I think the 243 is a nifty cartridge, and those Ruger No.1s are classy. Enjoy !

Incidentally Gary this rifle is coming from your neck of the woods, Sayre, Pa.
Are you going deer hunting tomorrow, I hear it is your opener.

Pooh, I and the grandson saw two squirrels late in the day. My son-in-law set up about 100-110 yards from me saw 9 total deer with one being a spike buck which would be legal for my grandson on his youth mentor permit. We will try again in a couple of days. The grandson won't be able to until Sat.

Bob, I'd been looking for an excuse to use the "off-topic" emoticon for ages...
