Those of you that would like to have a M1 Garand or a M1A (civilian version of M14) but the price is not on the budget. Now one can get one in 22lr. Kingston Armory is the manufacturer. The replicas are going MSRP for around $700. I know pricey for a 22lr but getting a M1 garand is for a good one will set you back around a thousand. The stocks on these a very good walnut at least from the photos. I came across this so I'll share.

A couple years ago I picked up a M1-22 at an auction. This page is in the wrong language for most of us but you get the idea of what it is. Let me tell you, those little .22 LR cases are pretty hot when they find away down into your shirt.
