Due to my often mentioned relationship with my LGS I really never knew rationing. In addition I already had 2 or 3 Bricks of W/W Power Point and CCI Mini Mag ,but he did ration and as you noticed it does seem to be easing.

FWIW, I've seen .22s in the various shops pretty much right along. What has been interesting is WalMart. I'm in our local one at least once a week, and frequently more, and I always check the ammo/accessories aisle, in part to keep track of .22 availability. It's more a barometer to me than anything, since I have more kicking around than I'll ever live to shoot. Since the first of the year, they have had zilch. As in nothing. Squat. Zero. Last Friday, all of a sudden, the shelves blossomed with the stuff. CCI, Winchester, Remington. The Winchesters were going for .05/rnd. Bright and early Sunday morning I was back, and did my check, and there was still a significant quantity of the Remington left. They still have the three box max sign up. Not sure what it means. My local hardware guy still isn't able to get his hands on any. What does it all mean ? Not sure, but that's what I've seen.

You can't win at this. You buy a bunch and you're hoarding and the supply disappears. You buy nothing and THEY quit buying and the supply disappears. Something went wrong with the normal supply and demand. I blame the Democrats.  Now they are shooting republican senators............  |

Update from New Hamster-the local Walmart had a bunch of Remington bricks just under .06/round. All of a sudden, the place is lousy with rimfire. Go figure.

My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
Pooh I hope you find to right house .
