Here in my part of the country, August is Amateur Connie Mack World Series Baseball.....going on (I can hear the cheering and the announcer from my easy chair) as I post. Teams from all over the United States (and Puerto Rico) converge here to see who's the best of the 17 and 18 year olds in the land of the free. The stands and the many motels are full! ...... and I'm feeling sorry for myself, a shut-in for another week at least. Yup, second surgery in a year, this time to fix a Hernia that just wouldn't quit growing. Done this before when I was a lot younger on the other side. NUTS! At least this won't require 5 months of P.T. like the rotator cuff reclamation project of last September! August for me is usually week 1 C.M. Baseball, Week 2 County Fair, week three dodging the school kids in crosswalks, and week four preparing for a Colorado family reunion on Labor Day Weekend.......This year I'll settle for feeling good enough for week 4! Then I gotta be careful not to repeat the labor day disaster in Colorado of last year on the first day of that vacation.....yeah, the rotator cuff thing.......I'm getting really tired of doctors nurses and therapists. I need a real break. Yeah! and some shooting and testing of my still new CED M2! Meanwhile the next Ken Griffey Jr. standout future super star will have to standout in front of everybody else.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Greg, next time, tell them no stiches-just put in Velcro ! Hopefully, you can channel the grumpies (we all have them when healing) into a great recovery. Keep at 'em !
BTW, while I'm usually too figity to watch other people play games, I'd rather watch the ones that are developing than the ones who have made it. Much more interesting !

Good that you are on the mend again! A suggestion for your M2, if you haven't already done so color code both ends of one wire once at the photo cell and at the plug end, this will make life easier. This will let you know which sensor is start or end. It doesn't matter which sensor is start or finish except at the display. Good luck!

Well Greg I hope you mend quickly to have fun on week 4. Yes watching the younger ones play ball is good. I hope just one time before I leave this world that I can get to the "Little League World Series" I only live about an hour away from where they play.
