Bob, great thought, although if Irma ran into Dan, she might be in trouble...

Hi everyone! I am in Oklahoma safe and sound. However the house that Kat and I lived in, in Florida was destroyed by Irma. Kat and I split 2 years ago however we remain good friends and visit each other a few times a year. She is now living in Mass with her family. I am as stated above in OK with my family. Many things have changed since I was last on here. I am currently teaching Aircraft Mechanics At Spartan College in Tulsa, Ok as well as teaching CCW classes and Advanced Tactical classes as a side business. Occasionally I get the opportunity to teach reloading. The majority of my reloading equipment is in storage until I decide to stay here or go back to Florida. God I miss Florida! A couple of the advantages to Okla. Is longer ranges ( you guys know I love long range shooting) and open carry.(even though I don't ever open carry) The biggest disadvantages here is the fact that there are no swamps to airboat in and it get cold here. Yes my blood got very thin in Florida. Now anytime the temps drop below 50 I'm freezing!
I'm not going to promise anything but you might see me on here more in the near future due to the cold temps keeping inside more often than not. Later!!!

Sorry to hear about your life change although doesn't sound too devastating and also about your house.

Dan ~ Good to hear from you again; also good to hear you’re safe and sound. Sounds like you’re making the best of splitting up; so many people aren’t able to pull that rabbit out of the hat. I’m the one who hoped to get to Florida some day and hit you up for a ride in your airboat so I could get photographs of the swamp critters (especially the gators). I know what you mean when you talk about Oklahoma being gun friendly; we just move to Arizona (very much the same). Hope to see you on here more often. ~ Larry
