Well today 12-09-17 was the last day of the rifle deer season here in PA. Out of the allotted twelve days I got out for six of them along with my good friend and hunting buddy. My son-in-law's mother passed away last Tue. so he didn't make it out at all. Of the deer I did see I either could not get a clear shot or it was not safe to shoot at all. Well small game starts back up on 12-11-17 my buddy have his muzzleloader license and flintlock season starts the day after Christmas as does second season archery. I will take a week off from hunting then I'll plan on hitting the bunny trails. I prefer to hunt rabbits later in the year.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

My time out was limited by work and a sore knee. I was thankful for the time I had, but... Growing up in New England (home of the Red Sox) one of the first phrases every youngster learns is "Wait until next year !"
