I haven't seen Gary around lately. His last post was on the 6th . . . that's a long time for him not to be on here. Hope everything is okay.

He (or maybe Putin, on his behalf) posted on Facebook as recently as Tuesday. I hope he didn't run out of coffee !

Ok, I finally found a number that looked right, dialed it, and was connected to Mrs. Hacker. I identified myself, and despite that, she told me Gary has been hospitalized with some malady that I'll let him fill you in on if he chooses. He may be home as soon as possibly tomorrow (4/19) but nothing cast in concrete. I conveyed our collective best wishes and so on. Wonder if the docs will make him give up coffee ? 
There you have it ! Could have been worse. |

Ok, good update-I talked briefly to Hacker today. He still hasn't quite made it home, but he sounded good, and if I got everything right, he should be back on soon. Keep the coffee on !

Good! Hope it's smooth sailing soon for him! I learned when I was 24 that I wasn't immortal. I spend a month in the Hosipital and 3 more in bed. 44 years later, I always wake up surprised!  ahhh! I get another day.....and some of them are even good! But I'm a baby, only 68. My neighbor across the street just turned 100!.......Durned if he doesn't still work outside and I hear machines in his garage!.....and he drove his own car up til 2 years ago. Now there's a man!  My own Dad made it to 94......I'll never make that.....I like McDonalds breakfast too much.......and Dr. Pepper.  |

Gentlemen,
Thank you all for the well wishes,thoughts, and most of all the prayers. Now what was my dilemma? Did you ever have an abscessed tooth ya they are painful and get infected with pus. Well that was my liver. How it got that way the doc's were stumped. They took 2000 cc of the gunk from around my liver and I have a drain tube in to get the rest out. Spring turkey starts this Sat. and this season is shot for me getting out. Again guys thanks so much for the prayers.

Glad to see Gary back in harness . . . although, I am a little amazed at how far someone would go to perk-up the traffic in here (perk is a coffee, code word) |

My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
