I heard the best news since President Donald Trump's election today.
San Francisco's politicians are discussing dropping the "Sanctuary City" position which may not be much but it is a small but important crack in the shell.

Bob, it's a start, but don't get too excited about the egg cracking until you hear the sizzle ! There has been some talk of backlash against at least some of the craziness.

Pooh, given the extreme left attitude of S.F. any crack is a cause to celebrate. This along with other small fissures through out the blue portion of the state give me a very guarded hope.

Well we had a primary election yesterday. The results, while not conclusive, are quite heartening. The democraps may loose their supermajority in the State Congress due to some blue turning red. Gasem Nuisance also got a well deserved rude awakening, Cox led in the popular vote,at least for awhile, although slimy did come out ahead. I think I feel a Trump vs Hildabeast type of election in November. Though Fedlestien won,Sorryas*, Soros's DAs all lost. All in all not great but not terrible, there is a little bigger crack.

That's good news. Maybe there's hope. Now if Colorado will move that direction and New Mexico stops its slide to the left.
New Mexico has some real slime bags running this year. Totally nuts on forcing an anti-gun agenda here where it's never been acceptable.
We sent Soro's bills last summer to the incinerator.....but vigilance has to continue, because those devil morons NEVER quit.

Greg, it is agreed that the vigilance must be kept ,even increased if possible. Illinois seems to be taking the lead in over the top controls too the point of confiscation of certain guns. I used to not see the need for the Armalite Rifle 15 style rifle (and still don't) but the democraps have caused me to have to defend that platform becauise I can now see where they're headed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the November election results. Maybe we will do as "Justify"did and win.

Surprisingly good news. Even though I'm no longer there in person I have continued to support some political races with a few dollars when I can. I could not live with the crap there but can't totally write it off either.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the November election results. Maybe we will do as "Justify"did and win. I do understand what you're saying and how you feel, and I agree, except for one little detail. The second Amendment was created to save us from an abusive out of control government not a single nocturnal robber.....and the arms referred to at the time, was arms to defend against such a government out of control. In those days that was long military arms like the flint lock British Brown Bess....at minimum. Obviously, a canon in every front yard wasn't plausible or affordable.
Today, by similar correlation, that would be at least a fully automatic AR15 (M16). Actually less than minimum.....to defend against a government with M1 tanks and Ma deuce mounted Humvees and Apache Helecoptors....and that doesn't include flying drones. Sigh.....settling for a semi auto is at least better than a bolt action 30-06. The flint lock Brown Bess, though envisioned at the time....today is worse than nothing....better just to run and hide.
Now if Americans could each put a .50 caliber machine gun nest on every roof, then they may at least have a chance against your "democraps" in total control. (a very scary thought........not the machine guns mind you.....the democraps in total control....with Republicans all either in prisons or on the run with prices on their heads! (the Democrat happy dream)
