I was just perusing my copy of Speer’s Reloading Manual #15 and noted that the 32 ACP is no longer listed among their handgun cartridge data. It appears that this is the first Speer Manual to not provide data for the 32 ACP. Not earth shattering buy noteworthy. Admittedly, I do not shoot my old Colt 1903 that often but I’m still sad to see it dropped from Speer’s active list.

A sign of the times Larry. My .325 WSM has been dropped by some as well, oh well!

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Mixed feelings. Always hate to see the demise of a classic. On the other hand, have you ever loaded those things ? Microsurgery !

Ya you're both right on the reloading side as far as size goes. I actually have reloaded the 32 ACP but not very much. I do however load some quantity of 380 Auto . . . not a lot of difference. I watched a friend reload some 25 ACP once. He actually had a magnifier in front of his single stage press. It seemed a little too much for me. He also often pinched his fingers guiding bullets into seating die. I never did buy any 25 ACP Dies after watching that.

The most fun is the tiny charges. For a change of pace, I used Green Dot in mine with some cast bullets I picked up on sale (casting anything that small had got to be a hassle !) The range of charges listed ran from 1.6 to 2.4 gr. It was physically taxing to keep everything lined up !
