In the LGS today and a nice young lady came in to sell her Browning O/U. As the salesman handled the gun I ,verbally, noted(queried) there are two barrels but only one trigger! I almost caught the salesman(friend)off guard the girl looked at me wondering why I was even in a gun shop,then the laughter started! The girl has more than just that gun and her family has a 1,000 acre property in France where she hunts and she belongs to a trap/skeet club over there.

Sounds like fun, Bob ! Sometimes the thing can backfire. A friend likes to feign ignorance to see if salesmen really know their stuff. One day, he said he didn't understand something about a particular rifle. The salesman looked at him and said, "If you don't understand that, maybe your buddy Jim can explain it to you". It turned out the salesman had been at a service rifle clinic that my friend and I were instructing, just a couple of days before ! (They got along fine after that !)
