I got a gift yesterday.

I own and run nearly 1000 self-storage units. About half the time people clear out but they don't. That is they leave garbage inside for me to clean up or pay to clean up....giving up their humongous deposit of $15. It's a bit of a pain, but we still make money....even renting units at half the cost as they do in other States.

So yesterday one was abandoned with just a few things left. A 2004 HP Lap Top that doesn't work......and a plastic ammo box full of 9mm, 20g and 12g deer slug ammo, and a large box of .22rf Remington......and a brand new cloth zipper case for a small rifle....maybe a .22 will fit.

Guessing? a divorce and she didn't give a d... about his ammo or gun case.

The computer was hers....name on the purchase receipt was female. But has a nice case at least. Merry Christmas to me? smiley-rolleyes010

Good thing for him he didn't leave his guns in there.

One summer, Uncle paid me to work in the White Mountain National Forest. A lot of it was policing campsites. Amazing what people left behind. Lots of beer. We kept it if it was cans, but you can't be sure with a bottle ! (Well, we didn't keep it for *long*. We disposed of it in an environmentally sound way. Well, it sounded good to us, at least...) In any event, a nice bonus for you !
