Hi- I think I had my midwinter slump late this afternoon, and I was cleaning up some files on the computer, and I just reminded myself that the HUB closed down on 1 July 2014. Wow. Just kind of caught me by surprise !

Well we've had a fun 4-1/2 years since. We just need to entice more hand loaders to this site. Some other sites seem to be lack luster though. I enjoy the group here and look forward to each posting though the thought of one of your cookies broke a tooth and Hacker's coffee sent me to the E.R.  |

Well we do have a great bunch here at the 2A House. Yep four and a half years and still going. If there was a way to promote our group more I like to hear suggestions how. We do add a member every now and then and I think when they look us over and see how we conduct ourselves says a lot. Oh I keep telling ya you need my coffee to soften Pooh's cookies.  |

This is a great group . . . the trust and friendship here is well worth the price of admission.
This is kind-a-like sitting around the wood stove and swappin' stories.
The social aspects of this gang are as valuable as the technical exchange.
Maybe this group isn't destined to be in the big leagues but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Thanks to all of you for being here, and a special thanks to Hacker for keeping this ship afloat.

Well I just noiced our group as been hiding out here for just over 10 years now, doesn't seem that long though. I imagine we are for the most part past the experimental part of our shooting hobby and now just shooting and hunting and perhaps offering some knowledge to one another and lurkers, still this is a good reason to "enjoy" Pooh's cookies and Hacker's coffee. I hope we can keep Larry's wood stove going another 10!  |

As they say . . . time flys . . . the older I get the faster it flys. I am not a fan of todays Social Media and have been outspoken about it. I do not take part in any group other than here. I don't think of this group as Social Media, in fact, I think of us more like friends just sitting around a campfire and swapping tales (or friendly lies). |

Not only is this is one of the places I check regularly, it's one I call home. Hard to believe HUB shut down that long ago ! I would just add the thought that if distance were not an issue, we'd probably get into some serious (good natured) hinjinks ! I've never had a question unanswered, although sometimes, the answer is something like "try it and let us know how it works out for you, if you can" Well, on to the next ten ! My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
