Those that are familiar with semi auto handguns that those handguns come with either a single or double stack magazine depending on model. Single being one round on top of another and the double stack is that the rounds are staggered. Well how about a semi auto with a quad stack and it hols a total of 33 rounds. Introduced at this years SHOT Show is Kel-Tec's CP33 a semiautomatic pistol in 22lr. that holds 33 rounds. In my provided link and looking at the clear polymer mag you can see how the rounds are situated in the magazine and from this article it seems to do well. As always comment as you like. www.gunsamerica.com/digest/kel-tec-cp33-shot-show-2019/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20190124_SHOT_3&utm_campaign=/digest/kel-tec-cp33-shot-show-2019/

Hacker, I'm all for high capacity, but somehow that quad stack system just looks like trouble to me !

Pooh I was thinking the same. It is tough enough to do a double stack with a rimmed cartridge like the 22lr but to have a double on each side and to get them situated to feed off the mag. I would like to see some sort of torture test for reliability.

Hacker, I guess I'd like to see a magazine full work through. Maybe someone's built The Better Mousetrap, but I just see too many angles and nooks and crannies ! Throw the rim in just to make things interesting !

I can't see it working better than the 100 round drum for my Ruger 10/22. I also have a 30 round stick for my 9mm GLOCK. I have to admit that I bought each of them because they looked "cool" but have only used each one time, then they wound up on the shelf. I'm a sucker for "cool" stuff that ends up not being practical for regular usage. This one didn't rate on my "cool" meter so I'll pass.

I prefer revolvers, so when they come out with a 40 round 6 shooter like Roy, Gene and Hoppy used then I'll give it closer look otherwise like everyone here I'll pass.

Nice thing about revolvers-you don't have to chase the brass !
