Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

I had been trying to get someone to part with a copy of the first edition of the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook (c. 1958) for a long time. Those willing to part with them were looking for loads of bucks, and there weren't many folks parting with them reasonably. I stumbled into a source of reprints of a bunch of firearms related catalogs and manuals, and for $25 I got a reprint from:
www.cornellpubs.com/index.php
Things to note- this is *not* a reproduction, so don't order from these folks if you're looking for something to complete a set. I got a bound, 8.5 x 11" reprint (original was something like 5.5 x 8) which is fine with me, as I don't need small print ! The paper stock was heavy, and the binding more than serviceable. It was printed in color, and the colors were as crisp as they were. The copy they scanned had a few marginal notes, which kind of give it character. I had it in my trembling hand in less than a week. Point, game, set.
Obviously, nothing productive got done of Friday night !

Thanks for the link. This looks to be a great resource. Like Hacker, I'll bookmark this and pour over it when I get a few minutes.
