Got an email from Lyman announcing their acquisition of an outfit called Mark 7 Reloading. It appears to be high end, progressive presses. A couple of things came to mind-how will they compare to the RCBS and Dillon stuff, and how soon will Greg have one and improve it ? I'd never heard of these guys. Anyone know anything (about this) ?

Nope, never going to happen. They aren't green.
Kidding about green, but I don't need a factory. They are based on Dillon's 1050 with a power drive......way out of my class and range. Maybe there is a Dillon lawsuit in their future.....

Greg, I just tracked down the price-I don't think I'll be standing in line for one-besides, I can't shoot them that fast !

Well Pooh ya beat me to it. Yes Greg they have the setup on the Dillon presses but it looks like they have one that seems to be their own but I'm not sure on this so here is Lyman's link. www.lymanproducts.com/mark7info

3 k /rounds per hour ? ? ? I reload to relax and spend some time in "my room" 3 k /$ ? ? ? I can buy more guns and reload at a leisurely pace
I had not heard of this company but the equipment looks very nice.

It is way beyond me. Their hourly rate is about my annual consumption, 100-300 rounds per month total of 20 something different cartridges. Anyway an interesting machine.
