A new ammo manufacture based in Fla. I'll post the video. Pay close attention to the polymer case ammo and why the DOD is interested in it.

Hacker, we keep seeing these things come and go. I wonder if this is the one that will stick ? (Big advantage-they don't have to worry about the likes of me stealing their brass !) Thanks for the post !

Pooh,
The military likes the idea of less weight to carry. Give a soldier 20 pounds of ammo to carry for a day it does take a toll. Now give them the same amount or rounds that is 6 to 7 lbs less and that will make a difference. The same goes for aircraft for air time and fuel consumption.

Hacker, remember the caseless ammunition (or rather, the multiple attempts at it) ? I have a tube of the Daisy .22 rounds in my collection, for no apparent reason... Your notes on weight saving make sense, but is this the breakthrough ?

So, Is the polymer casing reloadable? I wonder if we will have to have a plastic polymer loading press to make it, lol-happy reloading
