Available in 5 days.......August 1. Not much different from the 650 except for a less explosive 550-style straight-line primer feeder, smoother indexing, and a wider mouth to handle larger rifle cartridges. Read the new features shown in red. In a Dillon reps words, no more bang, bang, bang. Just right to go with their optional new variable-speed case collator.

Thanks Greg. Well so far it has not been on Dillon's site. Would like to know where this ad is from as the price is a deal.

Not really a deal. $50 more than the 650. You get one caliber kit, and one powder measure, but that's all. Dillon ad pictures always portray a lot of "options" not included in the price. No stand and no case collator is included.....and I don't think the "buzzers" are either. I understand its not for sale until the 1st.....so it won't show up until then. Don't know if you can pre-order....you'd have to call Dillon.
For example: the way they price the basic 650 includes the following: (notice no stand, no "T" handle, no dies, no case collator.)
1 powder measure with standard large and small powder bars (small bar installed). The small bar throws from 2.1 to 15 grains of powder. The large bar throws from 15 to 55 grains of extruded powder or up to 60 grains of ball/spherical type powder. 1 primer system with large and small priming parts (appropriate size installed). 1 large and one small primer pick-up tube. Low Primer Alarm 1 loaded cartridge bin 1 toolhead 1 powder die 1 caliber conversion kit - installed 1 set of standard Allen wrenches
I was just at the Dillon site......looks like they are gearing up. XL650's are no longer show a price nor are order-able online..... unless you call them. IOW's they will still sell you one if you if you call....if they have any left, if you insist, but they may try to talk you into waiting a week for the new one....you could call them and see if you can preorder.....

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Greg, I can just imagine that by August 5th, you could have it producing faster and quieter, and hooked up to a small reactor to power it ! (Ok, it isn't green...) I've been interested to see Dillon stuff out at retail, even here in New Hamster. When Dillon started, one of their premises was cutting out the middleman. Blue is the one color not represented on my diversely populated bench-yet. Hope it works out for everyone !

I have Dillon........polish.
Mark my words....Dillon is tired of throwing away money replacing mangled primer system parts for free. I'm most amazed that it took so long. Cheaper too, as they will now use the same system on all their other presses. Grafs have a few 650's still, but there is no backorders when they are gone.
I said, I was surprised it took so long? A little secret! The 650's with their primer system, couldn't load .338 Lupua................that round is the new bees knees...... now does it make sense?....beyond parts waste? Ah, I see, said the blind man.

Dillon recently opened their new retail showroom at the factory in Scottsdale, Arizona (about an hour and a half drive south on me). Their showroom is really nice and you can try everything they make in their hands-on displays. I haven't been down there for a while, guess I'll have to stop in again and see this wonder machine. By the way Greg, true to your comment about the ads showing all the accessaries that are not included; all the showroom displays have ALL the available accessaries and they do drive the price up. It's like buying a car.

Yesterday at Grafs and Dillon alike all I saw was order arrivals in 4 to 6 weeks. Especially the usuals, .45, 9mm, .223, .308, 30-06. etc. I'll have to look to see whats really in stock.......
Pooh......be glad to experiment on yours, to see if I can make IT faster and better!...just buy one and send it my way..... I promise to not mess up the baby blue paint.
