True Confessions Time. Over the summer, I acquired one of those nasty plastic 9mm pistols. (I still hang on to the Browning, sort of like Obi Wan Kenobe with his light sabre...) The price was the next best thing to a Bernie Sanders giveaway. I've got about 350 rounds through it, and it's getting close to being operational.
I stumbled into an outfit that seems to make a good product. I ordered one (got away with no shipping charges !) and am pleased with the material, workmanship and retention quality. If you're in the market for something in the concealable line, you should give this guy a look. My only gripe is that with the IWB format, I'm going to have to lose about five pounds !

I have a very large box of holsters. Most of them are the result of trial and error (leaning heavily to the error side). Inside the waistband, outside the waistband, leather, plastic and combinations of both. After way too much time and money invested I have settled on Stealth Gear out of Sandy Utah. I only find them on-line and have met the folks at the NRA National Meetings but they are not in any LGS I have found traveling around the country. The thing I like best about the IWB holsters is the backing material. They are made of a material similar to the straps on backpacks and they are vented. I carry all day long with no discomfort or sweating. I’m not sure why they are not in LGS locations, everyone I have referred to them has been pleased with the products. As to the five pound remark . . . I had to start buying my belts two inches longer for IWB carry. I’m sure the gun is the difference . . . it can’t be your cookies . . . can it? I’ll look at your recommendation here; I seem to buy a lot of holsters for some reason.

Looks like they have a nice line of holsters foe semis but very lacking in the revolver line. As for me I would have to do more than five.

I don't carry as much any more.....but I do have my fav. sidearm, my Ruger SR40. Might even carry more if I had a holster I liked for it. Stealth Gear folks, obviously do not like the .40S&W.....and I don't like 9mm....so me and them will probably never meet.
I noticed muddyrivertactical DOES have a couple of holsters for it ..... may have to try one out. Thanks Pooh!

I too would get a holster if I could find a comfortable CCW for my 6" S&W .41 Model 57.

Besides being a smart A$$ Id try to do just that. I've actually thought of getting a CCW but aside from the politics involved I have decided against it at least for now . That holster maker does sound like he makes a superior product. Thanks for the introduction pooh.
I do prefer an open carry where I need a handgun, on the ranch. Cannabis growers don't ya know.
