Yep been over a year and yesterday 12-14-19 made it to one. It was held in Harrisburg,PA at the "Farm Show Complex" which BTW is where the NRA holds the "Great American Outdoor Show" Did not buy much but did pick up a 4lb, W231 at $84. I did some checking on line and with Hazmat and shipping that would be over $100 so I made out there. I also picked up a small ultrasonic cleaner for $20. This is not for brass but for the barrels for my semis and reloading dies. I know cheap price but if it does what I want and last for a few years that'll suit me fine. also got three MTM ammo crates for $15 each. I was going to get these at Cabela's like the ones I got a few weeks back. Now at Cabela's they were $25 each. So I made out better at the show. Yes one can find good deals at the show if one does their homework.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Sounds good, Hacker ! What were your observations on pricing, attendance and dealer participation ? Those are things we've been watching for a while.

Pooh as for prices it was like with any other show I've been to. They went from now that's a decent and reasonable price to Holy sh....!!!! The Colt snakes seem to go up more. Saw a nice 4" Python with the tag stating NIB condition and looking it over from what I could see the bluing was %100. Now for the price $3895.00 Bricks of 22lr were on the same spectrum as stated earlier. Some were at close to $40 and others at $30 and just around $25. There were items on my list that were there but I didn't get oh well next time.

The last three shows I've been to seem to have wider range of prices than in recent history. You'll see something in one isle and two isles over there is same stuff at significant difference in price. I'm not sure what is driving this but some of the guys I shoot with had noticed the same thing. Biggest differences are in ammo prices and (ie: 45ACP 230gr ammo from $0.39 to $0.89 per round). Gun parts and accessories have a big spread too but guns themselves seem very consistent and that translates to very high priced. Saw a Ruger 44Mag carbine for $1,100 . . . that's a $550 to $650 gun, depending on condition. Some original WWII / Korea M1's are well over $1,500 now and last year they were under $1,000. With these wide variants in prices you need to walk the entire show before you start buying anything. But the main thing is the feeling and smell of FREEDOM when you attend a gun show. God Bless America!!!

Gentlemen I fordot to mention that their were full auto guns on display not sure if any were for sale or not. One such gun caught my oldest grandson's eye and did not ask if they had a price on it or not. I told him it was a 20mm anti-aircraft gun. I looked at the plate and confirmed it was a 20mm in fact it was an Oerlikon 20 mm cannon. www.imfdb.org/wiki/Oerlikon_20mm_Cannon
