If you encounter this DAG Head-Stamp be careful. I found a handful of these among some range brass I picked up. The primer flash-hole is so small it won’t accept a standard decapping pin. I can’t get a .0625 inch punch in the hole. Standard flash-holes in a variety of brass for 9mm easily accept a .0785 inch punch. My RCBS 9mm Die sports a .0705 inch pin. Over the years I have encountered rough flash-holes and off-center flash-holes but never flash-holes that were too small to recap. I went to DAG.COM website and found they sell imported ammunition (mostly steel case). They also sell Berdan Primers for reloading although this is some of their Brass Cases with Boxer Primers. Before you ask . . . I did NOT break a decapping pin . . . I was decapping by hand and noticed the issue in time.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Back in the day, I found out how tough a Lee sizing die could be when I took a .223 berdan case and converted it to Boxer. (I was younger, stronger, and less well informed then...)

Yup . . . I was once strong enough to do the very same thing. Although . . that method does create an oversized flash-hole.

The one pictured I can see it was fired in a Glock. They have that distinctive rectangular mark on the fired primer.

Good eye, their Gary . . . Glock does have a distinctive primer fingerprint.
