Gary ~ I've had mixed reviews of the on-line classes. They have a good place but work best when they are followed up with in person instruction and quality range time. The students I've had that went through the on-line class had a real mixture of information gleaned from the classes. Some folk do much better in self learning than others. ~ Larry

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Immense PR could have been reaped by running some free, basic videos-how to store, where not to point your muzzle, stop if you don't know what you're doing (think Eddie the Eagle aimed toward adults) along with an invitation to full blown live instruction when the bluebirds are once again over the White Cliffs of Dover. Trying to do too specific when we have such a variety of plastic, striker fired thingies just isn't going to work. (Imagine this offering combined with a mailing to each FFL, giving a link for the free instruction. They could be copied and given to every new purchaser.)
Like Larry, I am dubious about online education. I think many of my students are losing out with the shift to online at the college. Some will do well, and then there are those who won't have to bother sobering up to come to class ! ;-)
