My daily carry is normally IWB Holster on my right hip. I had need to carry my M&P Shield in my pocket for two days. I was warning a new pair of pants; the pockets were a soft but heavy sweatshirt type material. After about four hours of carry on one day and six hours the next day this was what the muzzle looked like. When I stripped it down the entire gun was full of the same lint shown at the muzzle. I’ll chalk this up to lesson learned and never do this again.

Larry there is holsters made specific for in the pocket. Don't know if you have looked into them or not. So here is a link for you to view and if any perk your interest you could contact that manufacture. holsteraddict.com/pocket-holster/

Larry,I thought you were just being a good samaritan and packing the wound after shooting someone. Just a thought!

Oh, heck, just put it in a ziplock bag ! It'll draw faster that way, and keep your ammo dry, too !

The ideas this crew comes up with amazes me. I like Bob’s idea best . . . packing a wound while inflicting it could be a money making idea. Maybe Hornady should look into a new design ? ? ?
I don’t pocket carry, although I have a pocket holster for my little Sig 380. This was a rather odd situation that came up so I just stuck my M&P Shield in those new pants. The down fall of the whole thing was the crazy material the pocket lining was made of. In just a few hours there was heavy lint EVERYWHERE in that gun. I had to disassemble it completely including the magazine. I could have knitted a sweater from all that lint.

Or you could have made it a probable non lethal weapon by just blowing in the assailants face and given him/her an incapacitating sneezing fit.

Bob at least....has been home too long.....okay....me too. But I can't stand to be idle...even in heart attack recovery mode.... Since I haven't been able to do anything else, I decided to see if there was a way to make a couple of RIFLE BULLET shaker style collators for my two RCBS rifle ball bearing bullet feeder/M die expander sets in .223 and .308! Boredom can make me try the darndest things....but heck, those tools are great....just slow with no collator.
The ground rule was no trips to home depot or anywhere else.....had to use what I have in the sprinkler shed and the garage.....
I'll share the results in a little while.....not bad actually.....the only other option is to buy an expensive Mr. Bullet Feeder with a rifle kit for each caliber....ex-SPENS-ive....and a pain to change calibers to boot. We need a happy dance icon, master forum leader, Greg's happy....and when that happens he isn't hurting anything around him.....and his wife likes him better.

Hacker you need to do what I do......find a Grand Kid who is nerdy enough......and have him/her show you or do it for you! BTW, I got sidetracked back to the APP......one thing I dislike is the case feeder mount.....takes too dang long to change calibers on the feeder!@@#! So I did something about it and thought I'd share it with you seeing you have one too.
I use the APP a lot for prepping .223 and .308. It didn't feed them well, so you all know I added drop tubes to stabilize the process.
Well I got tired of the mickey mouse setup time to change calibers ....... so as I said, I did something about it.
I find that the coupling nuts not only stabilized the whole feeder better, another one underneath made tightening things just plain easier.....I hate getting on my knees to find the stupid nut.....
You think I learned how to add videos without grand kid help?
Sorry Larry for getting off the subject.....I'm finished.
I used to carry my little Kahr in a crotch holster that had a pager or cellphone holster that you grab, and pull it out......then I got a little extra weight in the midriff, which made it not so easy to pull out.....we live and learn. I don't carry much any more......the bad guys leave me alone.....too mean looking. (I wish) Really, I just stay out of places where I might need it and pray and hope for the best. To be truthful, I'm more scared of me doing something stupid and dangerous, than them. That's what happens when you get old.
