My son and I ventured out for the first time in what seems like "forever". We attended the San Tan Valley Gun Show (near Queen Valley in Pinal County, not on very many maps). It was live and in person, among other like minded humans. As gun shows go this was a small rural show held in a large barn and the surrounding property. There was no parking fee and admission was only $6.00 and included a free snow-cone. There was plenty of good gun-guys fellowship and a good mix of formal vendors and private sales. I only saw four face masks . . . this was the closest I've been to "normal" life in many, many weeks. I only bought a few odds and ends but made a couple of great contacts for future needs. After being sequestered for the past few months this was the greatest outing in recent memory. There is light at the end of this long dark tunnel.

Great to hear that you made it out and about. One can find some real gems at the smaller shows. Remember several years ago I was at a small show and saw a rifle that sure would like to have bought that day. It was a Kimber model 84 and they at the time was the only one making a rifle in the caliber I wanted. The caliber was 221 Fireball. Alas all I could do is get my hankie out and wipe the drool off my chin and the tears out of my eyes. I just didn't have the $1,300 he was asking but I think he could have come down. Well maybe. Weather here is now getting to where it will be more pleasant to get to the range.

Nice to be in a state where the Governor isn't nuts......our ranges, gun stores, and gun shows were forced to hibernate. I hope this teaches the majority in New Mexico (Spanish descent) that the Democrats aren't and never were their friends, nor do they deserve a vote from any sane person who cares about personal liberty....nor are communists from any other country. I say this because there are just as many Hispanics who own and shoot guns as Anglos.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Larry, I think a lot of us are ready to get on with things while taking some reasonable precautions. Glad you could get out !
