That is good information, however in a home defense situation which probably will not be over 10 yds I will rely on point your finger and they're hit. It is the method I practice and can score 10 hits on an 10" log reasonably fast. In that circumstance as with bird hunting sights are no more than a distraction to me.

I was trying to apply the information to field use. In any home situation, I'm likely to be firing at the hostile blobs, since I don't wear my glasses to bed ! Point and pull ! Seriously, I've been working on point shooting more of late-along with left handed !
