Well I have a Wichester now in fact have it a couple months now. Booklet/manual states it holds 12. I am guessing that who evere drew this one up only saw their results on paper and not in reallity. Looking at it it has provisions for 12 but in the real world I can load 8 no problem. A slight struggle with 10 but no way you going to get 12 in this thing. It doesn't matter how I arrage the gauges and calibers 12 is out of the question. Oh I'm sorry guys this is my new gun safe to replace the "Stack On" metal cabinet I had. It'a a Win. TS-12 30 from Tractor Supply. The place for the firearms has 12 slots but the width will not accomendate 12. I hope to make a different piece with slots so it is more forgiving for 10.

Remember Rule #1 of Gun Safes! Always buy larger than you think you'll ever need.

Hacker, if your safe is too small I'll be happy to take the surplus for you. Really though it is good to know cause one of these days I'm going to have to get one myself.

I went to Tractor Supply's web site and there was a gentlemen who purchased a Winchester gun case advertised to hold 26 guns and could only get 17 in the case and the door would barely close. Maybe before you buy ask for a demonstration of assembling the guns in the case.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Hacker, the fine print reads that it's 12 "little, skinny" guns...

Remember Rule #1 of Gun Safes! Always buy larger than you think you'll ever need. The corollary to that is "larger" means x2.
What? You didn't know they meant alternating each "long" gun ..... barrel up, barrel down......? You won't find that in the instruction book.
"Gun safe manufacturers are as honest as used car dealers".......another corollary.
Okay......serious now.....watch this......
You're welcome...............................OKaaaaaaay.......it's pricey! But you gotta admit it's a neater-than-heck idea! So.........what to do, if you don't feel like supporting their greed.......? You can make your own.....and you can use velcro like they did or even use magnets.......interested? We need a new project to fill the covid abyss, anyway.
If, Mr. Hacker, you are interested, measure the length of your longest rifle and the the height of the space in the new gun safe that it's to go in........and while you are at it......see if the inside top will attract a good magnet. (I aim to build me a set too.)
